Pina Colada and Tutti Fruitea Popsicles
Posted by Phuong on Jul 28th, 2011

Cool off this summer with these delicious and healthy frozen treats! Packed with antioxidants, these tea infused popsicles are light, refreshing, and very easy to make! I created two recipes; one for your little ones, and a deceptively tame but delicious one for the adults! Enjoy!

Tutti Fruitea Berry Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of cut carrots (It's good for them and they won't even notice it's in there!)
  • Juice of 1/2 an orange
  • 4 teaspoons honey (equivalent to 1/2 teaspoon of Stevia or 6 tsp of sugar)
  • 3/4 cup of Koni Tutti Fruitea brewed (Use 2 tsp of loose leaf Tutti Fruitea and infuse in boiling hot water for 10 minutes. Cool and set aside.)

    Directions:

Blend all ingredients in blender until liquefied. Pour into Popsicle molds. Freeze and serve.

    Pina Colada Popsicles

    Ingredients:

  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • Juice of 1/2 an orange
  • 4 tsp honey (equivalent to 1/2 teaspoon of Stevia or 6 tsp of sugar)
  • 1 cup of Koni Coconut Euphoria white tea brewed strong
  • 2 ounces of your favorite alcohol. (I like rum for this recipe.)
  • 1/4 cup sweetened coconut flakes

*** You don't want to use too much alcohol because it doesn't freeze.

    Directions:

Blend all ingredients, except for the coconut flakes, in blender until liquefied. Add the coconut flakes and mix thoroughly. Pour into Popsicle molds. Freeze and serve.
