Chai, a popular spiced tea from India, is robust and flavorful served both hot and cold. I love a hot cup of Koni Chocolate Truffle Chai on a cold winter morning with a spoonful of honey and a shot of coconut milk. The flavor is so comforting and the coconut milk makes it silky and smooth. The chocolate and vanilla notes from this special Koni black tea blend complement the spiced tea perfectly. I took the same recipe, poured it over ice, and infused it with vodka for a delicious poolside cocktail. Ingredients: Directions: 1. In a Koni Modern Mug, add 2 tsp of Koni Chocolate Truffle Chai to the filter and fill up 3/4 of the mug with boiling water, and let it steep for 10 minutes. 2. While you are waiting for the tea to steep, fill 2 Koni Double Wall Mugs with ice and add the coconut milk. 3. Add a shot of vodka to each double wall mug and stir. 4. When the tea is done steeping, remove the filter. Add the honey to the hot tea and stir. 5. Pour the hot tea over the double wall mugs, stir, sprinkle with cinnamon and cinnamon sugar. Enjoy! |
