Koni Matcha Latte. This is great iced or hot!


Matcha is a special type of green tea: a premium, jewel-green powder that is whisked with hot water in a bowl to make a delicious beverage. Koni Matcha uses the entire tea leaf so it is full of nutrients and antioxidants.

Koni Matcha tea has approximately 70 times the antioxidants of orange juice, even higher than blueberries, and its unique EGCG catechin element is one of the most powerful immune-boosting and anti-cancer substances known. According to research done by Tufts University, the ORAC capacity of Matcha Green Tea is exponentially higher than other foods known for their high antioxidants levels such as spinach. Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces vanilla almond milk or your favorite milk
  • 1-2 cardamom pods
  • 1 teaspoon Koni Matcha Green Tea


    Directions:

  • Bring almond milk and cardamom pods to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes, then simmer for 10 minutes. Strain into a blender.
  • Let the mixture cool down for a few minutes, then add 1 teaspoon of Koni Matcha Green Tea and blend.

    *** You can also make an Koni Frappe by blending with ice.
