Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Tomato, and Basil Panini

Making lunch has never been easier and more creative with my panini maker. Today I made an Italian inspired sandwich on french sourdough and it was so moist and packed with flavors! I enjoyed a delicious cup of Koni Emperor's Delight with this dish.




Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Oz of thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 10 Oz of thinly slices mozzarella cheese
  • 12 Tomato slices
  • 12 Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 Loaf of sourdough French bread, sliced






    Directions:

    1. Spread basil pesto on 1 slice of bread.
    2. Layer prosciutto, mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil over the second slice of bread.
    3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    4. Press slices together and place into your panini grill until your sandwich is golden brown and the cheese melts.
    5. Cut the sandwich in half.
    6. Enjoy with a cup of Koni Emperor's Delight Oolong tea.
