KONI 3 Day Detox with Healthy Food
If you have always wanted to detox, but were afraid of the harsh results or didn’t have time to do a 10 day cleanse, I’ve got the answer for you – the KONI 3 Day Detox. I did the 10 Day KONI Master Cleanse last year and it was one of the most amazing things I have done for my body. After the 10 day cleanse, I stopped eating red meat, lost 10 lbs, my skin was glowing, and I physically and mentally felt healthier. However with my hectic schedule, running to the bathroom for 10 days for an hour was not an option. I decided to do a 3-Day detox instead. This is not as intense as the 10 Day cleanse, but you should feel cleaner and healthier in just a few days. You can do this easily in the comfort of your own home and you are allowed to eat delicious and healthy meals.
Night Before Prep: 2 cups of KONI Holy Detox before bed.
Day 1 Tea Chick-ism: “GRATITUDE unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity…. It turns problems into gifts, failures into SUCCESS, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a VISION for tomorrow.” ♥
8:30 am: Brew a mug of KONI Holy Detox then add the juice of half a lemon. To stimulate digestion, I added a pinch of cayenne pepper. Sip slowly. If you need caffeine in the morning, a nice alternative is KONI Caramel Slender. This is a Puerh tea that helps to detoxify, lower cholesterol, and assist in weight loss.
My Morning Ritual: I always give thanks for the three most important things in my life. Then I acknowledge how I’m feeling at the moment. Usually it is always positive, but if there is any negativity, I address it immediately. I try not to let that energy affect the rest of my day. Total detoxification includes getting rid of physical, mental, and emotional toxins.
9 am – Breakfast: I made an egg white omelet and 2 cups of Throat Revival Tea. The basis of Throat Revival tea is licorice root, which helps with detoxifying the body. If you are diabetic, I do not recommend this drink because it is naturally sweet. Substitute Holy Detox for Throat Revival. Click here for the complete omelet recipe.
11 am Activity: 30 minutes of power walking on the treadmill with an incline of 7.
11:45 Snack: 10 strawberries and a pink grapefruit with 1 Cup of Immunity Booster tea.
– Strawberries and cherries are rich in ellagic acid, a nutrient that helps mop up free radicals and help combat poolytants such as alcohol and as a by-product they boost brain power.
12:45 pm Lunch: 4 ounces of lean protein with a large salad and 2 cups of Throat Revival. The more colorful your salad, the better. Click here for my mahi mahi salad recipe.
I don’t eat red meat and I rarely eat chicken so I had 4 ounces of grilled mahi mahi for my source of protein. A fish is considered “lean” when its flesh contains less than 2% of fat, making it the perfect item maximum flavour to a healthy diet!
Spinach, spring mix, mustard greens, and other dark leafy greens are good sources of fibre and powerhouses of nutrition. Research demonstrates that their high concentration of vitamins and antioxidants helps prevent hunger while protecting you from heart disease, cancer, cataracts, and memory loss.
3:15 pm Snack: KONI Detox Soup with 1 cup of Holy Detox. Click here for the complete recipe.
6:30 pm Dinner: Roasted Acorn Squash with 1 cup of Holy Detox tea. Click here for the complete recipe.
After Dinner: For total body confidence, a detox program combining body brushing, exfoliation, detox body boosters and cleansing bathing rituals helps smooth away dead skin cells and stimulates the body to eliminate toxins. I used the KONI Super Mom sea salt body exfoliator.
Before Bed: I always put a few drops of lavender oil on my pillow, give thanks and gratitude for my life, have a cup of KONI Immunity Booster and unwind with a good book.
